ExxonMobil is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for our Technology and Engineering organization in the Houston area (Spring, Texas). You will support Upstream and Downstream projects, maintain power systems, and apply relevant codes and standards to ensure safe, reliable operation.

The role requires mentoring colleagues and collaboration across disciplines. You will work on protective relays, system studies, and equipment up to 66 kV, with opportunities for international assignments.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of domestic and international industry codes and standards.
• Able to mentor early career engineers and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; adaptable to various living conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to project teams across Upstream and Downstream.
• Lead electrical maintenance and troubleshooting for power systems and equipment up to 66 kV.
• Apply NFPA 70E and industry standards to ensure safe operations.
• Model power systems and perform system studies (e.g., SKM).
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver reliable energy solutions.
