Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration.
• 10+ years of electrical design experience.
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar electrical modeling software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving project needs.
• Design experience with military bases, central plants, and campus infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of electrical systems for power plants, microgrids, and distribution.
• Prepare schematics, wiring diagrams and equipment specifications.
• Prepare reports, determine code requirements, and perform design calculations.
• Coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas.
• Manage a design budget and schedule.
• Develop engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform and check engineering calculations.
• Size, select, and specify electrical equipment and coordinate with vendors.
• Conduct project field site visits.
