Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our hybrid team in multiple locations including Chicago, IL. The role focuses on design and layout of electrical systems for power plants, microgrids, and distribution, with PE registration and 8+ years of experience as prerequisites.

You will develop schematics, specifications, perform calculations, and coordinate with vendors and project teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• PE registration is required.
• 8+ years of electrical design experience required.
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar electrical modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of electrical systems including power plants, microgrids, and distribution with medium/low voltage systems.
• Prepare schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Report preparation; determination of code requirements; perform and review design computations.
• Coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas as necessary; manage design budgets and schedules.
• Develop engineering drawings and specifications; perform calculations; size and specify electrical equipment.
