Job summary

Leoforce in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design, analysis, and implementation of electrical power systems for commercial, industrial, and utility projects. The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience across concept through commissioning.

You will work with HV/MV systems, protection schemes, and grid interconnection, using ETAP/PSCAD and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
8+ years of experience in power plants, renewable energy, or industrial power systems across full project lifecycle.
Strong knowledge of HV/MV electrical systems, protection schemes, and grid integration.
Proficiency with ETAP, PSCAD, or similar power system analysis software; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Experience developing and reviewing IFC-level drawings (single-line diagrams, protection schematics, cable schedules, grounding designs).
Working knowledge of IEEE, IEC, NEC and utility interconnection requirements.
Understanding HV/MV construction practices, QA/QC, commissioning, testing, and field implementation.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, and implement electrical power systems for commercial, industrial, and utility projects.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, clients, and utilities across disciplines.
Support full project lifecycle from concept through commissioning and start-up.
