Job summary

Solaris Management Consultants Inc in Houston, Texas seeks a Senior or Intermediate Electrical Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary electrical design on LNG, natural gas, and related facilities. You will prepare single-line diagrams, layouts, grounding, cable routing, and power system analyses using SKM Power Tools and ETAP, collaborating with vendors and project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in an Electrical Engineering or Applied Sciences program.
• PE registration in Texas (TBPELS).
• Registration as a PE in other US States or as P.Eng. in Canada is an asset.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in an EPCM environment.
• Solid knowledge of engineering codes and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design for facilities from well sites, natural gas processing plants, compressor stations, LNG facilities, and related projects.
• Develop and/or support engineering design of overhead powerlines and substation projects from concept through construction and closeout.
• Produce and review engineering deliverables such as single-line diagrams, layouts, grounding, conduit and cable routing, and construction details.
• Perform power system analysis using SKM Power Tools and ETAP and liaise with vendors.
