Job summary

Commonwealth LNG in Houston seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to develop detailed designs for electrical packages and advance engineering standards. You will lead the electrical discipline across projects, ensuring quality, safety, and reliability while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant LNG experience; modularization experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
5+ years of relevant work experience as an Electrical Engineer; LNG experience preferred.
Strong planning, communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

Provide insight to electrical engineering projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Manage and forecast man-hour estimates, schedules, and total installed cost estimates based on project scope.
Support the Technical Integrity function for electrical systems.
Develop and implement HV, MV, and LV electrical systems and protection systems.
Ensure compliance with industry codes, client requirements, and safety regulations.
Drive innovation in modular, mid-scale plant designs to enhance efficiency.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and senior engineers.
Conduct power system studies and analysis, ensuring optimal system performance.
Lead front-end and detailed engineering, RFP, and estimation activities.
