GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our Power and Industry Business Sector. You will design electrical distribution and related systems for diverse clients and develop project schedules, applying strong communication with clients and team members.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, 8+ years of experience, and a PE license where applicable. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and scheduling tools is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years related experience.
• Experience with electrical power distribution systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology is required.
• A B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university program is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License, reciprocity in multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating existing facilities.
• Performing conceptual studies.
• Estimating engineering and construction costs.
• Designing electrical power distribution systems.
• Developing project schedules.
• Strong, effective communication with internal/external contacts and clients.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
• Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project is preferred.
