Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Professional, Electrical Engineering to join its Energy team in Colorado. You will lead technical contributions across power generation, renewables, transmission, and distribution, guiding design through construction and commissioning while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

You will provide technical guidance, perform complex electrical calculations, and develop plans and cost estimates, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Engineer in Training Certification.
• Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferred).
• Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design on power generation, renewable energy, transmission and distribution projects.
• Review third-party design documents and procurement lists.
• Develop single-line and bus arrangements, grounding design, and protective relaying.
• Prepare plans, specs, and cost estimates for construction and commissioning.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide QA/QC oversight.
