Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering in a relevant field with 7 years of technical experience or related engineering experience.
• Maintain minimum access requirements and pass medical examinations as applicable.
• Familiarity with NERC Standards and field engineering experience at electrical power plants.
• Experience with electrical controls, protection devices, and high/medium voltage systems.
• Knowledge of DCS and PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical analysis, engineering programs and support for power plant operations.
• Act as a subject matter expert, mentor engineers, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Lead short- and long-term engineering programs affecting site operations and design.
• Perform engineering tasks applying standard design criteria, practices and codes.
• Conduct independent research and analyses to support technical projects.
• Recommend equipment and techniques to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical)
