Job summary

NPAworldwide in New York is seeking a senior hardware engineer to lead the analog and digital design for harsh-environment products across requirements, architecture, qualification, production and sustainment. The role demands deep expertise in power electronics (MOSFET/IGBT/SiC/GaN), MIL-STD-1275/704, DO-160 and MIL-STD-461, plus PWB layout, thermal and EMI analyses.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required; M.S. preferred.
• 15+ years of analog and digital circuit design experience.
• Strong background in power electronics (MOSFET/IGBT/SiC/GaN).
• Experience with MIL-STD-1275/704, DO-160, MIL-STD-461.
• Thermal, electrical stress, EMI analyses and radiation (SEU/TID) knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across the full product lifecycle.
• Perform analog and digital hardware design, analysis, and verification.
• Develop clear requirements, design docs, and present at reviews.
• Optimize design tradeoffs on performance, cost, schedule, and risk.
• Support manufacturing and legacy products; mentor engineers and support hiring.
