In this role, you will prepare detailed electrical installation documents while ensuring compliance with electrical and building codes. Responsibilities include creating electrical plans, specifications, and providing support to design teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 10 years of experience, and a P.E. License. The compensation ranges from $95,000 to $120,000 annually plus a comprehensive benefits package and discretionary bonuses.
Qualifications
10+ years of applicable experience.
P.E. License with the ability to obtain licenses in multiple states.
Working knowledge of National Electrical Code and applicable Building Codes.
Understanding of short circuit current evaluation and arc flash analysis.
Strong working knowledge of the Electrical Construction industry.
Responsibilities
Develop and prepare detailed electrical installation documents.
Create power plans, grounding plans, lighting plans, and panel schedules.
Provide electrical support to designers throughout the BIM modeling process.
Check all designs for quality and accuracy.
Consult with vendors and reviews project shop drawings.
