Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Engineer in Charleston, WV to lead complex power distribution and generation projects within an EPC framework. You will guide technical decisions, oversee design from concept to commissioning, and coordinate across engineering, procurement, construction, and startup teams.

The role requires a strong electrical background, 8+ years in industrial electrical engineering, and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams. Travel 15–25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering including power distribution/generation.
• Experience leading electrical engineering work within an EPC or design-build project environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, codes and standards.
• Working knowledge of instrumentation and controls for EIC coordination.
• Proven ability to lead teams and communicate with customers and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 15–25% from Charleston, WV.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering execution for EPC projects involving power distribution and generation.
• Direct and review electrical design deliverables and construction packages for quality and compliance.
• Coordinate electrical, instrumentation, and controls scope across engineering, procurement, construction and startup.
• Collaborate with project managers, customers, vendors, and teams to manage scope, priorities and interfaces.
• Lead or oversee power system studies and deliverables like single-line diagrams and layouts.
• Provide mentorship to engineers and ensure safe, timely project delivery.
• Support business development with technical credibility and solutions.
