Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
7+ years of electrical design experience in healthcare, life sciences, research & development, or commercial/institutional buildings.
Proficiency in Revit MEP.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in California.
Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Willingness to travel locally and relocate to the San Diego, CA area.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor engineering and design staff, fostering growth in both technical and professional development.
Perform quality control reviews of electrical engineering deliverables, including drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
Represent EXP during client meetings and site visits, documenting findings and action items.
Develop Basis of Design narratives into Design Development and Construction Documents.
Demonstrate advanced expertise in lighting, power distribution, and fire alarm systems.
Prepare technical studies and reports for electrical systems.
