Job summary

Seneca Resources Company, LLC seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to take a lead role at the Warm Springs station in Virginia. The candidate will provide engineering and technical support, lead root cause analysis, assess equipment condition, and develop specifications for electrical systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required (engineering technology degrees are not acceptable).
5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution equipment and generator systems.
Ability to interpret codes, regulations and practices.
Willingness to work safely in a plant environment including confined spaces, around water, at elevated heights, and in underground tunnels.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering and technical support for the station.
Perform root cause analysis and problem solving.
Assess equipment condition (vibration, oil analysis).
Develop and review equipment specifications.
Oversee contractor interactions and permits.
Review capital projects and perform generator inspections.
