Job summary

Charter Steel in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to drive reliability and performance of critical electrical systems. You will lead outages, upgrades, and capital projects while mentoring maintenance teams to deliver safe, on‑time, and on‑budget plant improvements.

A BS in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of manufacturing experience are required. Candidates should know high/medium voltage distribution, be able to design and interpret schematics, and manage electrical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and schematics interpretation.
• Experience designing/control panels and maintaining electrical drawings.
• Proven project leadership and ability to mentor maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive reliability and performance of critical electrical systems.
• Lead outages, upgrades, and capital projects with safety focus.
• Mentor maintenance teams and ensure safe, on‑time, on‑budget improvements.
• Maintain electrical documentation and system records.
• Source and qualify electrical products and vendor solutions.
• Coordinate contracted maintenance across plant systems.
