Job summary

MMR Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to support our client's facilities in Raleigh, NC. You will review designs, oversee equipment installations, commissioning and startup of low and medium voltage systems.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of experience in electrical engineering and electrical construction.
• Knowledge of Low and Medium Voltage systems (up to 10kV).
• Experience with switchgear, switchboards, lighting controls, and UPS.

Responsibilities

• Review designs/submittals from A/E firms and vendors to ensure owner requirements are met.
• Oversee electrical projects end to end from design to commissioning/startup and close-out.
• Provide technical guidance in design, project management, commissioning and validation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to drive project progress and decisions.
• Prepare, review and execute commissioning protocols and reports.
• Work on client sites and comply with safety rules.
