Barry-Wehmiller Design Group in Fort Worth, TX, seeks an Electrical Engineer, PE, to join our team of world-class consultants delivering electrical design for manufacturing clients.

In this on-site role you will design MV power distribution, protective relays, DC power, grounding, lighting, and wiring; perform load calculations, arc-flash, and coordination studies; coordinate with civil/site designers and contractors on new construction and renovation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with MV power design and related design tools (AutoCAD, ETAP, EasyPower).
• Strong communication and collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design medium voltage power distribution systems in compliance with codes.
• Design protective relay logic schemes and settings.
• Design DC power for MV support control and annunciation systems.
• Create grounding designs and perform site analyses.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors on projects.
