Job summary

PRIME AE Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer I (PE Level) to join our MEP team. You will lead electrical design across diverse building types and market sectors, collaborating with architects, engineers, and field personnel to ensure designs meet codes and project requirements.

The role offers mentorship of junior engineers, involvement from concept to construction, and opportunities to work on high-impact projects within healthcare, federal, education, and commercial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical system design.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing.
• Experience with power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design from concept through construction documents.
• Coordinate with architects, MEPs, and contractors for integrated delivery.
• Perform electrical analyses and code compliance reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers within the MEP group.
• Support design reviews and construction-phase services.
