Job summary

Wavetronix seeks a highly motivated, full‑time Electrical Engineer with strong PCB design, embedded firmware and hardware test skills. You will design, implement and test printed circuit boards, work in an agile team with standard tools, version control, and unit tests, and contribute to high‑quality hardware development.

Success will come from deep understanding of product architectures, collaboration across teams, and ownership of design tasks from 90 days onward, growing to major hardware

Qualifications

• 5+ years hardware design experience
• Electrical Engineering degree with circuit analysis, digital systems, electromagnetics, and embedded firmware coursework
• Familiarity with circuit boards: components, schematics, and layout
• Ability to take ownership of projects
• High motivation, strong work ethic, and high standards for results
• Able to collaborate, share work, coordinate efforts and communicate effectively
• Experience with source control, unit and system testing, and product lifecycles
• Able to read hardware datasheets
• Experience coding in C for embedded environments
• Knowledge of DSPs, ARM processors, and FPGAs

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of current Wavetronix products focusing on PCB architectures
• Demonstrate technical proficiency by collaborating with the team on assigned work
• Understand and use standard tools and processes used by the team
• Become a major contributor to hardware and system design
• Achieve expertise in one or more project development areas
• Collaborate with other teams on related projects
• Develop deep understanding of Wavetronix hardware systems and future development
• Debug, test, maintain and update existing hardware as needed
• Suggest improvements to system performance, maintainability and quality
