Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and Revit (3D) for electrical design.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee electrical systems for industrial and food manufacturing facilities.
• Develop electrical calculations and documentation for Issue for Construction packages.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Support energy-efficient system design and optimization initiatives.
• Verify electrical equipment meets safety, performance, and operational requirements.
• Produce accurate schematics, specifications, and scope documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, process, and project management teams.
• Support budget development and cost tracking for electrical scopes.

Metric Geo is partnering with a growing engineering and project management firm to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer for their team in Northwest Arkansas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys working on technically complex, multi-discipline projects and is comfortable operating with a high level of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee electrical systems for industrial and food manufacturing facilities
• Develop electrical calculations and documentation for Issue for Construction (IFC) packages
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and regulatory standards
• Support energy-efficient system design and optimization initiatives
• Verify electrical equipment meets safety, performance, and operational requirements
• Produce accurate schematics, specifications, and scope documentation
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, process, and project management teams
