Job summary

Gentis Solutions, LLC is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for industrial power distribution to lead design across multiple projects. You will own medium- and low-voltage systems, produce drawings and specs, and coordinate with client engineering and maintenance teams.

The role supports a hybrid schedule with two remote days per week, and projects span across several locations, including Salt Lake City, with travel to sites as needed. PE/EIT credentials are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical engineering experience in industrial facilities and capital projects.
• Experience in medium- and low-voltage power distribution design, drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA and related codes and standards.
• PE license or EIT with a clear path toward PE licensure.

Lead Electrical Engineer – Industrial Power Distribution

Location: Hybrid | Cincinnati, OH; Greenville, SC; Raleigh, NC; Appleton, WI; Kansas City; Birmingham, AL; Baton Rouge, LA; Salt Lake City, UT; Savannah, GA; Mobile, AL

Compensation: $160,000–$190,000/year

Schedule: Approximately 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

About the Role

What We’re Looking For

• Strong electrical engineering experience supporting industrial facility and capital projects.
• Hands-on medium- and low-voltage power distribution design experience, including electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Strong working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Consulting engineering or construction industry experience supporting industrial projects, including independent onsite project management and direct client collaboration.

Experience in pulp and paper, chemical, food and beverage, consumer products, or pharmaceutical environments is a plus. EPC project experience and a PE license—or EIT with a clear path toward PE licensure—are also preferred.

Preferred Tools:

Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
