Job summary

Turtlebox Audio LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to own the electrical direction of rugged outdoor speakers. You will define system architecture, lead PCBA and battery development, and manage external partners to ship robust products.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in EE for consumer devices, deep power management and Bluetooth experience, and a hands-on, lab-focused approach from prototyping to production ramp.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience in consumer or embedded products.
• Led products from concept through mass production and sustainment.
• Strong battery systems and Bluetooth experience.
• Deep knowledge of power management and embedded electrical architecture.
• Experience with EMI/EMC design and regulatory processes (FCC, CE).

Responsibilities

• Own electrical system architecture from concept through production; you are the decision-maker.
• Define and approve system architecture; select key components.
• Prototype, test, and validate in real-world environments.
• Lead external partners; set acceptance criteria and ensure quality.
• Collaborate with product, mechanical, firmware, and operations teams.
• Debug complex system-level issues across hardware and firmware.
• Own electrical readiness and risk management through ramp to production.
• Be the internal expert on electrical decisions for all products.
