Job summary

RTX in Tucson, Arizona, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience to join the Test Equipment Engineering Directorate. This role is 100% on-site and requires a U.S. government security clearance.

You will design, develop, and integrate test systems and equipment for Raytheon products, contributing to all development stages. Required are a STEM degree and DoD clearance eligibility; proficiency with Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, and Creo Schematic;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years’ experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years’ experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD clearance is required.
• Experience in electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
• Proficiency with Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, and Creo Schematic tools.
• Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, and Power Meters.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate Raytheon test products within Test Equipment Engineering in multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop engineering and production test systems, adapters, cabling, and schematic/circuit design.
• Manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects and milestones.
• Independently or with the team, identify and resolve issues in test products and implementations.
