Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for an onsite role in Durham, NC. This 12+ month contract position offers competitive pay and benefits, with a focus on leading electrical design across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include developing electrical systems, schematics, PCB layouts in Altium, and coordinating cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance and documentation are maintained to high standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in electrical or electronic product development.
• Advanced proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB design.
• Circuit design, power distribution and analog/digital electronics expertise.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical and electronic systems for new and existing products.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts, and documentation using Altium Designer.
• Develop analog, digital, power, and mixed-signal circuit designs.
• Lead electrical design through all phases of the Product Development Process.
• Coordinate development activities across Mechanical, Software, Systems, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams.
• Generate and maintain engineering documentation and reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.
