Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking Mid to Senior Electrical Engineers to support our Englewood, CO, Casper, WY, and Billings, MT offices. You will provide electrical and controls design for pipeline, compressor stations, and terminal projects nationwide, bringing strong experience in oil and gas engineering.

A bachelor's degree is required along with 5–10 years of experience; P.E. is preferred. Travel up to 25% may be required, and a self-driven approach with mentoring abilities is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5–10 years of Electrical or Controls Engineering, with Oil and Gas experience preferred.
• P.E. preferred.
• Proficient with P&IDs, IO lists, circuit schedules, PLC panels, loop diagrams; NFPA 70 knowledge.
• Construction support, site commissioning, and start-up experience.
• Experience with PLC programming is a plus.
• Experience specifying ISA data sheets and procuring instrumentation and control devices.
• Ability to train junior staff and communicate clearly with peers, contractors, and clients.
• Strong troubleshooting skills; self-starter; able to handle solo or team projects.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and controls design support for pipeline, compressor station, and terminal projects nationwide.
• Lead a multidisciplinary project team in a senior capacity.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with peers, contractors, and clients.
