Job summary

Tetra Tech seeks Mid to Senior Electrical Engineers for our Englewood, CO office with work nationwide across pipeline, compressor stations, and terminal projects. Candidates should have 5–10 years in Electrical or Controls Engineering, with Oil & Gas experience preferred, and be proficient with P&IDs, PLCs, and NFPA 70.

This in-office role requires strong leadership, training ability, and hands-on skills in site commissioning and startup.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5–10 years in Electrical or Controls Engineering, Oil & Gas preferred.
• P.E. (Professional Engineer) is preferred but not required.
• Proficient with P&IDs, IO lists, circuit schedules, PLC panels, loop diagrams, and NFPA 70 guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and controls design support for pipeline, compressor stations, and terminal/tank projects nationwide.
• Lead design efforts within a multi-disciplinary project team and mentor junior staff.
• Support site commissioning, start-up, and field troubleshooting activities as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors and clients to ensure design quality and safety standards are met.
