Job summary

Gentex Corporation is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. You will research, model and develop designs for aircrew and groundcrew applications, guiding new product development from concept to full-rate production.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of direct experience in product design and new product development.
• Ability to lead transition from concept to production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on new design and development programs.
• Execute NPD process with ownership of PDR/CDR; support reviews.
• Lead production support activities including corrective actions and root-cause analysis.
• Ensure quality of engineering documentation and communication with stakeholders.
• Design products to meet cost, performance, weight, quality, reliability, safety and schedule requirements.
• Guide interdisciplinary teams in planning and design approaches.
