Job summary

RK Industries, LLC seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for modular infrastructure projects, ensuring code compliance and manufacturability.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, review diagrams and layouts, and guide junior engineers while aligning with design standards and safety requirements. A PE license is beneficial, with 5–8 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master’s degree a plus.
• 5–8 years of experience in electrical engineering, design, and integration within critical power systems or industrial apps.
• Experience with UPS systems and power distribution equipment integration; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for modular infrastructure projects (data centers, power modules, e-houses, electrical skids).
• Develop and review single-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring layouts for AC/DC systems.
• Coordinate integration of BMS, controls, and auxiliary systems within modular solutions.
• Create detailed layouts and drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and related tools.
• Specify electrical components (transformers, switchgear, panelboards, busway, cabling).
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to review vendor submittals and ensure design intent alignment.
• Support shop drawings reviews and production builds for constructability.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, NFPA, UL, IBC, IEC; contribute to design standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across Design/ Manufacturing Engineering.
