Job summary

HED is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead technical execution and design leadership for large, complex projects. You will manage substantial electrical scopes, mentor junior staff, and coordinate interdisciplinary efforts from concept through construction administration.

Responsibilities include overseeing Revit models, validating calculations, reviewing submittals, and representing the discipline in client-facing settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• P.E. licensure required.
• 10+ years in the AEC industry preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Revit experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and documentation of complex electrical systems.
• Validate key electrical calculations and integrate results into design.
• Oversee setup of electrical Revit models and standards.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and civil teams.
• Serve as primary electrical technical contact.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and substitutions.
• Perform site visits and generate field reports.
• Provide design leadership through construction administration.
• QAQC reviews for electrical deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Participate in fee development and scoping.
• Present concepts and trade-offs in meetings.
