Job summary

TECHnology SITE Planners, Inc. (TechSite) is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design for data centers and mission-critical infrastructure. You will balance hands-on design with client-facing leadership and team development in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor engineers, manage electrical design tasks, and contribute to project success with strong communication and technical skills. Central Ohio base with some travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• PE License preferred.
• Experience with data centers, control centers, or similar mission-critical environments.
• 7+ years in electrical design, preferably for data centers.
• Deep expertise in electrical power distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, and lighting/alarm systems.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and NEC; familiarity with Revit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute projects from concept through completion while mentoring engineers.
• Design and implement solutions for mission-critical electrical systems.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design projects: scope, schedule, budget.
• Mentor a team of engineers and designers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Prepare design documents, reports, and project specs; support field installations and testing.
