Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Henderson, NV is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical discipline for the Arthur Gold Project Feasibility Study, developing power distribution, electrical infrastructure, and plant electrical systems with safety, reliability, and cost considerations aligned to project goals.

Qualifications

• 15–20+ years of electrical engineering experience in mining, minerals processing, or major industrial facilities.
• Experience as Electrical Lead on PFS, FS, FEED, and EPCM projects.
• Strong knowledge of medium- and high-voltage power systems, substations, motor control centers, and plant electrical infrastructure.
• Experience evaluating utility connections, transmission systems, and power supply alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead all electrical engineering activities for the study, including power distribution, substations, transmission interconnections, and plant electrical systems.
• Develop and review electrical design criteria, load lists, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Prepare electrical capital cost inputs, design assumptions, execution strategies, and study deliverables.
• Coordinate electrical interfaces with process, mechanical, layout, instrumentation, controls, water, tailings, and infrastructure teams.
• Support development of power supply alternatives, utility interconnections, and grid integration strategies.
• Lead electrical discipline reviews and provide QA for all deliverables.
• Represent the electrical discipline in client meetings, workshops, and technical reviews.
