Job summary

BB&E Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to support NAVFAC SE in Jacksonville, FL, providing professional electrical design for MILCON, facilities sustainment, renovation, and infrastructure upgrades in DoD environments.

Responsibilities include field assessments, QA inspections, commissioning support, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams using AutoCAD/REVIT and DoD software. On-site work at naval facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional electrical engineering design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• PE registration is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate electrical design for code compliance during submittals and ensure comments are resolved.
• Perform site assessments and QA inspections prior to design.
• Witness testing and provide commissioning recommendations for electrical systems.
• Prepare design analyses and present findings to stakeholders.
• Support MILCON, facilities sustainment, renovation, and infrastructure improvement projects.
