Stanley Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in power generation, relay settings, plant facilities design, and microgrid clients.

The role supports multiple sites with a hybrid work model across Chicago, Denver, Des Moines, Minneapolis, and Muscatine. You will design electrical systems, develop drawings and specs, perform calculations, and manage budgets and schedules while collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver high-impact

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• PE Registration is preferred.
• 8+ years electrical design experience is required.
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of power plant sites, microgrids, and distribution systems including low/medium voltage, switchgear, MCCs.
• Design of schematic and wiring diagrams; prepare equipment and system specifications.
• Prepare reports; determine code requirements; perform and review design computations.
• Coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas as necessary.
• Manage a design budget and schedule.
• Proficient in developing engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform and check engineering calculations.
• Size, select, and specify electrical equipment; coordinate with vendors.
• Perform project field site visits.
