Ladders is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - Microgrid Controls & Automation Architecture to join a leader in the Energy & Utilities sector. This remote role focuses on designing integrated controls and automation for microgrids, developing strategies, and ensuring system performance.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in utilities, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and a solid background in microgrid controls.

• 8+ years of experience in power generation, utilities, or industrial automation.
• Proven track record in microgrid controls architecture development.
• Ability to handle confidential U.S. security information.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - Microgrid Controls & Automation Architecture to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space.

This role will focus on designing integrated controls and automation architectures that support microgrids and distributed generation assets. The engineer will define how multiple control and utility systems interact, develop operating strategies for different scenarios, and help ensure secure, reliable, and well-documented system performance. The position also partners closely with vendors and technical stakeholders to move projects from design through testing and commissioning.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $154,200 - $223,200 annually
