Job summary
HNTB Corporation in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead electrical, MEP and lighting design for complex infrastructure projects. You will develop conceptual and detailed designs, perform power distribution studies, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with clients and other disciplines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 7+ years, or PhD with 6+ years.
- Experience leading electrical design for complex facilities and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in power distribution, one-line diagrams, grounding and lighting systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level technical leadership for electrical, MEP and lighting design.
- Coordinate with project manager, clients and cross-disciplinary teams to meet schedule and budget.
- Develop conceptual and detailed designs and calculations to support project delivery.
- Mentor and train junior staff, reviewing work and giving feedback.
- Lead larger multi-disciplinary projects and ensure quality of deliverables.
