Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a senior Engineer IV to provide advanced electrical engineering support across power distribution, protection, control, and energy conservation on high-profile projects.

The role includes mentoring engineers, reviewing designs for code compliance, and leading value engineering efforts. Travel up to 30% is required, with on-site work and close collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• Fluency with applicable codes and standards.
• Working knowledge of energy efficiency requirements.
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
• Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
• Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position.
• Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical engineering support across electrical engineering domains.
• Mentor other engineers and oversee solution implementations.
• Visit job sites to survey conditions and collect detailed data.
• Quality control of design documents for code compliance and design integrity.
• Conduct value engineering and develop detailed equipment specifications.
• Support testing, commissioning, and problem resolution on complex projects.
