Ziehm Imaging - Orthoscan Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and development of electronic systems for medical devices.

You will own schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, and verification, driving products from concept to production in a highly regulated environment. Responsibilities include embedded software support, regulatory compliance with IEC60601-1, and cross‑functional collaboration with QA/RA, manufacturing, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Masters in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 8+ years in electrical engineering, medical devices a plus.
• Experience with IEC60601-1 and regulatory aspects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic systems including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Embedded software & firmware development to support device functionality.
• Prototype testing and verification to ensure IEC60601-1 compliance.
• Product validation and cross‑functional collaboration across departments.
• Documentation and regulatory‑driven reports in quality systems.
