Job summary

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related technical degree at an accredited university.
  • Coursework/projects/internships in analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Familiarity with schematic capture, PCB layout, or circuit-simulation tools.
  • Exposure to programming languages such as C, C++, Python, LabVIEW, VHDL, Verilog.
  • Exposure to FPGA-based electronics, microcontrollers, or DSP.
  • Interest in electronics used in maritime, defense, aerospace, or high-reliability applications.
  • Understanding of electrical engineering principles, circuit analysis, and hardware design.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware testing and basic lab equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and sustain electronics for maritime applications.
  • Assist in review of requirements, component selection, and verification approaches.
  • Support hardware bring-up, testing, and evaluation of prototypes and production hardware.
  • Develop and support test methods, equipment, and cables for verification.
  • Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, firmware, manufacturing, quality, and supply-chain teams.
