Job summary

iMPact Business Group seeks a hands-on Sr. Electrical Engineer to design, build, test, and support LED-based lighting for machine vision.

You will own hardware from concept through production release, collaborating with mechanical, software, optical, test and manufacturing teams. Responsibilities include designing analog/digital circuits, LED drivers, power conversion, and interfaces; creating schematics and layouts in Altium, Eagle, or KiCad; ensuring signal integrity, thermal performance, EMC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of hardware design experience from concept to production release.
• Experience with PCBA layout and design for manufacturability, cost and performance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for EMC/EMI and related testing.

Responsibilities

• Design analog and digital circuits for LED lighting products.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts with Altium, Eagle or KiCad.
• Develop BOMs, build instructions, and supporting docs for production.
• Provide thermal analysis and thermal management for high‑output LEDs.
