Job summary

TYG in Denver seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead complex, high-performance building projects and mentor engineers. You will drive technical delivery, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and advance sustainable design initiatives.

The role emphasizes energy efficiency, electrification, and the development of design standards within a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
Active PE license or ability to obtain one.
Experience leading electrical engineering projects from concept through construction.
Experience managing budgets, schedules, staffing and client expectations.
Leadership or mentoring experience.
Strong understanding of electrical building systems and design practices.
Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Commercial awareness and understanding of project profitability.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design and serve as Engineer of Record where appropriate.
Manage project technical delivery, budgets, schedules and resources.
Provide technical leadership across complex building projects.
Develop electrical systems that support high-performance, energy-efficient design goals.
Communicate design options and recommendations to clients and project teams.
Build and maintain strong client relationships and participate in business development.
