Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to be based in Atlanta, GA. The role leads complex electrical power system designs for commercial, government, and institutional facilities, with a focus on medium and low voltage systems.

You will direct multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure quality and on-time delivery while maintaining client relationships and project budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in buildings and facilities engineering.
• PE certification required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to pass MVR.

Responsibilities

• Works with multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, and mechanical engineering.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Communicates complex technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Drives decisions and coordinates across functions, geographies, and business lines.
• Applies advanced engineering knowledge to solve complex problems.
• Leads mid- to large-scale projects with responsibility for scope, budget, and schedule.
