Job summary

Our client, an employee-owned engineering firm expanding into Phoenix, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to build and lead the local practice. The role involves designing power distribution for industrial and critical facilities, and leading projects from design to startup.

The candidate will establish the Phoenix office, staff the team, and coordinate with other offices to deliver integrated facility designs. Arizona-licensed PE preferred or ability to obtain licensure.

Qualifications

• Licensed PE Electrical with AZ registration or ability to obtain.
• Experience leading electrical design for industrial, semiconductor, life sciences, or process-driven facilities.
• Desire to learn and grow as the office is established.

Responsibilities

• Establish the Phoenix office as the local contact for clients in the region.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and designers as the office grows.
• Staff and deliver projects with other firm offices.
• Lead electrical design from basis of design through construction documents and startup.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and controls engineers on integrated facility designs.
• Review and seal drawings and calculations as Engineer of Record.
