Job summary

Our client seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to establish and grow a new Phoenix office, overseeing electrical design for industrial and semiconductor facilities. The role involves hiring staff, mentoring engineers, and coordinating with other offices to staff and deliver projects in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

The candidate will lead design from basis of design through construction, perform short circuit and arc-flash studies, and seal drawings as Engineer of Record.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical design for industrial or process-driven facilities.
• LEED or SEMI/Electrical standards knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to mentor and grow a new office locally.

Responsibilities

• Open and lead the Phoenix electrical practice, serving as local client contact.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and designers as the office grows.
• Coordinate with other offices to staff and deliver projects.
• Lead electrical design from basis of design through construction and startup.
• Review and seal drawings and calculations as Engineer of Record.
