NV5 is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments. You will plan and develop projects with significant impact, maintain liaisons inside and outside the organization, and operate with independence on technical matters in your field.

The role demands extensive progressive experience and a proven ability to lead complex engineering efforts.

Qualifications

• 12+ years professional experience
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
• Professional registration is preferred, but not required
• Must be able to travel to work-sites as needed or required
• Must have the ability to cultivate effective relationships with clients and vendors
• Demonstrate an ability to identify, assess and nurture business development opportunities
• Demonstrate a strong business acumen

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, coordinates, and directs several large and important projects or a project of major scope and importance.
• Directs the entire engineering program of an organization when the program is of limited complexity and scope.
• Conceives, plans, and conducts research in problem areas of considerable scope and complexity.
• Maintain familiarity with current industry standards, trends, and technologies.
• Directs the preparation of proposals and directs client presentations.
