Job summary

Genuen is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Electronics Systems Engineering team in Albuquerque, NM. This on-site, full-time role focuses on hardware design and development for test solutions and turnkey hardware/software deliverables, leading a multi-discipline project team.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in electronics engineering, 5+ years of leadership, strong lab skills, and experience with C++, C#, Python, LabVIEW, and NI tools. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, or electrical engineering is required.
• 10+ years of electronics engineering experience, including large system development.
• 5+ years leading projects and electronic hardware design and implementation.
• Experience cultivating and growing key relationships, both internal and external.
• Proficiency in the operation of standard laboratory test equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, digital multimeter, spectrum analyzer).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, VHDL or LabVIEW.
• United States citizenship is required.
• Active DOE or DoD security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware design and development of products, systems, tests, and automated test equipment.
• Serve as project team leader and primary technical contact for the client.
• Install test solutions per project specifications and standards.
• Engage in client initiatives delivering turnkey hardware and software deliverables.
• Manage timelines and justify revised schedules when needed.
• Provide input on project costs, design concepts, and changes.
• Ensure appropriate hardware architectures and task delegation within the team.
