Job summary

Ramboll invites a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Solutions for Industry team in Charlotte, NC, and other U.S. locations. You will lead electrical design for industrial power systems, mentor staff, and coordinate multi-discipline teams to deliver final designs and client-ready proposals.

The role requires a PE license, BSEE, 8+ years of experience, and proven leadership in a consulting environment. You will support projects from design through construction with a focus on sustainable,

Qualifications

BSEE degree and lifelong learning to maintain knowledge of contemporary issues.
8+ years relevant work experience.
PE license required.
2+ years experience leading a team of design professionals in a consulting engineering environment.

Responsibilities

Design for electrical power distribution (medium/low voltage) systems, grounding, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for industrial markets.
Lead a team of electrical designers/engineers and coordinate final design deliverables.
Mentor junior staff and develop technical skills.
Interface with clients as the electrical lead and manage small to mid-scale electrical projects.
Prepare proposals, fee estimates, and presentations; represent Ramboll throughout the project duration.
Provide construction support including cost estimating, scheduling, site inspections, and shop drawing reviews.
Prepare technical reports to define projects and provide clients with technical direction.
