Job summary

Ramboll in the Americas is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design industrial power, lighting, and communication systems. You will lead a design team, mentor engineers, and act as the client interface during proposals and project execution. This role requires 8+ years of experience and a PE license, with opportunities across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• BSEE degree or equivalent required; PE license required.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience in electrical design.
• Experience leading a team of design professionals in a consulting engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution (medium/low voltage), grounding, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for industrial projects.
• Lead a team of electrical designers and engineers; coordinate with other disciplines.
• Mentor staff and develop technical skills across the team.
• Interface with clients, lead proposals, and manage small to mid-size electrical programs.
• Provide construction support including cost estimating, phasing, and site inspections.
• Prepare technical reports and deliverables for clients.
