Job summary

Ware Malcomb, a dynamic design firm, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to deliver electrical engineering solutions for diverse clients in Los Angeles. You will lead, coordinate, and provide technical leadership across planning, organization, and project completion for systems including lighting, UPS, and fire alarms.

You will act as Engineer of Record, guide design teams, coordinate with owners and contractors, review calculations, mentor staff, and help develop standards.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Engineering.
• 15+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced financial knowledge for project decisions.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects as Engineer of Record (EOR) and mentor team members.
• Coordinate between designers, owners and contractors.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle including electrical systems design and calculations.
• Review calculations and ensure design accuracy.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards.
• Support field activities and resolve technical problems.
