ETAP is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Interconnection Studies within the power grid. The successful candidate will lead modeling, simulation, and technical analyses for interconnections involving utility‑scale renewable generation, battery energy storage, and conventional generation across both transmission and distribution networks. This role also contributes to the development of next‑generation tools that address the growing challenges of renewable integration and grid reliability.
The ideal candidate has extensive hands‑on experience leading utility‑scale interconnection projects across the U.S., with strong technical judgment, in-depth understanding of ISO/RTO procedures, and a proven track record of delivering high‑quality studies and obtaining regulatory approvals.
