Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related power field.
• 10+ years in power, utility, industrial, or electrical equipment engineering.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply UL, IEEE, ANSI, CSA, IEC standards to equipment under testing.
• Conduct on-site and laboratory design reviews, inspections, and compliance assessments.
• Develop test plans, evaluation strategies, and certification pathways.
• Witness or conduct testing for dielectric withstand, insulation coordination, temperature rise, grounding.
• Travel to customer facilities and Intertek locations up to 25%.
